Our intention is to encourage cooperation with museums in the western part of Japan, museums affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and museums overseas by using personal digital assistances. We are trying to create a new type of participatory museum support system which operates beyond academic fields and regions. It is experimental research to analyze participants’ degree of satisfaction by using data gathered from questionnaires on the web site.
In addition to the photographs of major exhibited objects or works whose theme is “life” which were offered by museums, postings of other exhibited objects’ pictures and comments from the local general public participants increase the information we can share on the web site and make the system evolve. Both domestic and oversea museums can cooperate and share the information beyond fields.
Current cooperation: Currently, we are getting cooperations from eight museums and two cities.
